Just the three Wheelers and two private entrants tonight. A shame, as the conditions were the best of the season so far. As a consequence I believe that everyone got course PBs.
Thank you to ALL those who helped out on this event. I believe that I thanked everyone personally although no doubt I missed one or two! Your contribution made this event a success.
Special thanks to LeeM & Tony DS for all their input.

Starting from Much Hadham a group of seven Wheelers lead by Tim Dobson rode a mainly off road route along the River Stort and through the Lea Valley following Sustrans National route 1 with a detour through the former Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield, and returned mainly along the Lea and then retraced the route back to Much Hadham. A very warm and enjoyable day by all, 40 miles in total.
On Wednesday evening Hertfordshire Wheelers ran the fifth round of their 10-mile time trial league. In cold and windy conditions eight riders contested the event and Karl Willis of Herts Rouleurs Racing Club came home the winner in 21 mins 52 secs, 29 seconds ahead of the Wheelers’ Gareth Wignall - the same result as in the previous two rounds as these two continue their tussle at the top of the order. The race was run on the E64/10 route which takes the riders out and back on the A414 between St Margarets and the outskirts of Harlow.
