Pat Player

We received the following sad news from Merv Player:
"Pat passed peacefully away yesterday after several visits to hospital from her Care Home in Graveley. I will let you have the Funeral arrangements later, in case any of her old friends may wish to attend. " 
"We will welcome all to Pat’s Funeral which will be at Harwood Park Crematorium, Knebworth, on the 25th May at 11.45 . We are retiring to Number 18 (New Close, Knebworth) after the Funeral and welcome anyone who wishes to come.   We decided that people can send flowers or make a Donation as they wish. The flowers and Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society (so that they can hopefully research a cure to what took Pat) to be sent to the Funeral Directors, J .J. Burgess 23, Station Road, Knebworth, Herts. SG3 6AP."
Merv and Pat have been stalwarts of the Herts. Wheelers for over 60 years (Merv joined 1949, Pat in 1956). Pat was Racing Secretary for 23 years (1988 - 2010) and is still the holder of several Club records.
