Paris-Brest-Paris

Getting nervous now.  Off to Newhaven (by train) this evening (Thurs) for the midnight ferry (with MartinW).  Tomorrow we'll cycle down towards Paris (weather permitting) and stop somewhere along the Seine past Rouen.  Must be at the Velodrome (St-Quentin-en-Yvelines) at 4pm on Saturday for a compulsory bike check.  After that we've got over 24 hours to kill as we kick off at 8pm Sunday.  We've got to fit in 1,230 kms over the following 90 hours always making sure that we don't exceed the time limit (2pm on Thursday).  Would like to say that it sounds like fun but no matter what angle I look at it from - it's horrific!  PW.
