Welwyn Track League - 05\07\13

Tony flew solo at this week's track league.  Weather was fantastic, warm and little wind.  Scratch race first up was very slow and tactical as always with a group of 3 riders getting clear and no one committing to reel them in.  He decided to go for it at just over a lap to go and distanced the pack to his amazement!  He reeled one in and managed to roll in 3rd so was very pleased.
Not so good in A&B block pursuit however, with the B group not deciding to work and getting caught and so he was quickly passed and finished well down.  The final race was the points race and he got 6 points, enough to get joint 3rd and went home before the 10 miler.  Overall he was pleased to add to his league points again.
