13 at the start for today's trip out to Codicotte, in what was probably the best
weather we've had for some time. I'd received a call earlier letting me know that
three wheelers on their way to the set off point were delayed due to a slight
mechanical and would catch us up on route. We were only just outside Hertford when
we heard the delightful tones of Messrs Taylor and North..... they were still about
500 yards away but you know how sound travels!!, Somehow Mike's tyre liner had
managed to escape from his wheel with tyre and tube still in place and wrap itself
around his forks, he's not having much luck lately. Perhaps the Buckle curse has
shifted host. ?
We took the usual route out to Whitwell and made a loop back to codicotte and
returned via Tewin for some nice smooth downhill cruising.
Great day as usual with good company and a bit of sun, what's not to like!!
Adios amigos, see you in a few weeks...... here comes the sun, do do do do, here
comes the sun.

A quartet of Wheelers assembled at Ware for the ride to Hatfield Heath through
Wareside, Much Hadham, Green Tye, Allens Green, Sawbridgeworth, Sheering, Matching
Tye, Matching Green. Upon arriving at The Village Tea Room we were joined by Ian
Smith who had ridden out directly from home. Finding a table was much easier than
other recent times as there were very few other cyclists or locals in attendance.
Return leg via Ryes Lane, Hatfield Forest, Spellbrook, Green Tye, Much Hadham back
to Ware. 42 miles.
