Wandon End near Luton Airport is a destination occasionally nurdled from the club ride ganderbag. Not that popular this week, though, as just six deerios made le petit depart from Hertford. They were joined at the cafe by one other, who, having missed the start, found his way via a sat nav in his mobile phone, taking a 26 mile route. The route of the main peleton, plotted by Ordnance Survey map,  was 17 miles. Tradition 1, Technology 0! On le petit retour,  a 1 and a 2 split the scene (how 1970s is that?), following their own routes. All back without misfortune. 37 miles.
